For All Renters

Internet Access: The house has Internet access wirelessly throughout. It also has ethernet access in the Office/Laundry Room. It is password protected and we provide the password when you arrive.

Security Deposit: We require a security deposit of $300 per room rented. This is payable at the time of your reservation.This will be returned within 30 days after you leave. Any damages or items missing from the premises will be charged against the security deposit.

Pets: No pets are allowed in the house either as residents or visitors. Many of our guests are sensitive or allergic to animals. If you bring pets into the house, you will forfeit your security deposit.

No Smoking: This is a non-smoking house. Many of our guests are sensitive or allergic to smoke. Smoke smell is difficult to clear. If you or any of your guests smoke in the house, you will forfeit your security deposit.

Keys: We provide you with one set of keys when you arrive. Please do not duplicate keys. If you need an additional set, please let us know. If your keys are not returned, we charge a $200 fee to rekey the house locks.

Laundry: The house has a laundry room complete with washer and dryer. Please supply your own laundry soap. If you need instructions for operating the washer and dryer, please ask.

Linens: We provide two sets of sheets and towels for each room. We can launder your linens during your stay for a fee.

Hot Tub: There is a glass-enclosed hot tub in the backyard that we make available to our guests from May through October. Please follow the instructions in the hot tub house for use and maintenance.

Steam Shower: There is a steam shower in the basement bathroom. This bathroom is used by the occupants of the Library. If the Library is vacant, other guests may use this shower, which also functions as a normal shower.

Movie Theater: The house has a Movie Theater. It includes a 60-inch television, a VCR, a DVD player and basic cable. The Theater has surround sound. A small library of DVDs and videotapes is also provided for your enjoyment while you are visiting.

Meetings and Parties: This is not a party house. This house is not being rented out for meetings or classes. Please refrain from hosting any events here. The use of the house is limited to our guests for their quiet enjoyment.

Cleaning: When you rent an individual room, we provide weekly cleaning. This includes all of the common areas, and dusting and vacuuming your room, and cleaning your bathroom. It does not include personal laundry or washing linens or changing beds. If you would like to make other arrangements, we are happy to quote a price for these services.

Cleaning is not provided when you rent the whole house. We are happy to quote a price for cleaning based on your needs. A cleaning fee of $300 is included in the house rental fee.

Liability: The use of any property implies inherent risks. Your acceptance of these risks is a condition for us to rent you a room. If you incur any losses or damage to yourself or your property during your stay, regardless of the reason, you agree to assume all risk and all financial responsibility.

Children: The house is not child-proof. Many of the wonderful features of the house make it difficult for parents with young children. Please be aware of this when you consider renting.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your reservation more that 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, all but $350 is refundable. If you cancel within 60 days of your scheduled arrival date, you will receive only a refund of the security deposit.

The rental fee balance is due 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If the balance is not received in time, your reservation may be cancelled within 10 days of your scheduled arrival date.

Once you have arrived and checked in, your entire room rental fee is nonrefundable. Please be sure you wish to stay with us for the entire period before you confirm your reservation.

Our payment and cancellation policies are based on the fact that most people coming to study in Idaho Falls plan months in advance. Once you have confirmed your reservation and we have received your deposit, we turn others away who inquire about staying. And, since our work and travel schedules are demanding, we may not be available to find someone to fill your space at the last minute. Of course, if someone takes your place, you will be refunded for the days of your reservation that the room is occupied.

Guests: All guests must be registered with us. Since we are renting rooms for local ThetaHealing wokshops, we do not allow workshop participants to offer overnight accommodation to others in their own or empty rooms, or on the couches, or on the floor. Exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis.
